Strengthen Your Enamel with MI Paste ONE and Remin Pro — Now Available at Delmar Family Dental
At Delmar Family Dental, we’re always looking for science-backed ways to help patients keep their natural teeth strong—especially when we’re seeing early “weak spots” in enamel, sensitivity, or a higher risk of cavities. One of the most exciting areas in preventive dentistry is remineralization, which supports the tooth’s ability to rebuild minerals that acid and bacteria can strip away over time. The National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research explains that fluoride can help stop or even reverse early tooth decay by preventing mineral loss and replacing lost minerals.
That’s why we now offer two professional-grade options for purchase in our office: MI Paste ONE with RECALDENT® technology and VOCO’s Remin Pro hydroxyapatite tooth cream.
MI Paste ONE is designed as a “two-in-one” product—combining the benefits of a toothpaste with the protective support associated with the MI Paste family. It contains RECALDENT® (CPP-ACP) plus fluoride, and GC notes it’s intended to help with enamel remineralization, sensitivity support, and prevention of white spot lesions.
What makes RECALDENT® unique is that it’s intended to help make bioavailable calcium and phosphate more accessible at the tooth surface—exactly the minerals enamel needs for strengthening. Because CPP-ACP is derived from milk casein, MI Paste products are not appropriate for patients with a milk protein allergy.
Remin Pro is a water-based tooth cream that combines hydroxyapatite, fluoride, and xylitol as a three-part approach to protecting enamel and supporting comfort. VOCO describes its nano-hydroxyapatite as helping fill superficial enamel lesions, while fluoride supports strengthening and xylitol provides a bacteriostatic effect.
Patients love that Remin Pro is easy to use and feels great—especially the strawberry flavor, which makes it a favorite for adults and teens who want something that doesn’t taste “medicinal.”
These products can be especially helpful if you:
- Notice tooth sensitivity (cold, sweets, brushing)
- Have early enamel “white spots” or demineralization
- Have a history of frequent cavities
- Are in orthodontic treatment or have areas that trap plaque more easily
- Want added support beyond standard toothpaste
See if MI Paste One or Remin Pro is right for you
The best product depends on your enamel risk factors, sensitivity patterns, and existing dental work. We’ll help you choose the most appropriate option and explain how to use it for the best results—because timing, technique, and consistency matter with remineralization-focused care.
